A life table analysis of birth intervals of urban and rural Thai women, 1979.The effect of contraceptive utilization on the interval of norfloxacin time elapsing between births (childspacing) for urban and rural married women in Thailand is revealed using a life table analysis. Finally, a female film maker asserted that birth control has enhanced life for women, who now have choices; norfloxacin children, who benefit from being wanted; and men, who are relieved of the burden of providing for large families. A woman who is a prominent journalist noted that the availability of oral contraceptives has contributed to the emancipation of Moroccan women. The analysis drug fioricet also computed the childspacing pattern of both samples in 2 periods of time, before (1955-69) and after (1970-78) the beginning of Thailand's National Family Planning generic theo-dur Program (NFPP). A woman who is a singer as well as a clinical psychologist found that birth control has made women more fulfilled, more independent, and has freed them of the aging which occurs with claritin continual child-bearing. Urban populations have smaller families, a smaller percentage of live births, and a higher percentage currently practicing birth control. The urban women who practiced chlorthalidone contraception sho almost an identical pattern of terminating birth intervals before and after the beginning of NFPP. Not only can they pursue careers, they can expend more energy on each of their children and assume equal position with the men in their lives. In addition to demographic information, generic indocin the questionnaire collected data on pregnancy histories, including duration of lactation, and contraceptive practices. The age distribution of the women in both samples is almost identical, and the demographic characteristics follow established urban and rural patterns. A sample of 1104 urban and 678 rural women of reproductive age were intervie between 1978 and 1980. Compared to urban contraceptors, the percentage of women who delayed terminations was smaller in the subsample of urban women who did not use birth control.. This is explained in part by the earlier introduction of birth control methods into the urban areas and the more frequent choice of permanent methods, e.g., sterilization, on the part of urban populations. Impact of contraceptive practice on child spacing. The life table analysis demonstrated that the probability of terminating all birth intervals (i.e., the 1st 6 months after a birth and every 6 months after, up to 60 months exposure) was less for the urban sample than for the rural sample. Another female journalist found that the Moroccan women who have been able to overcome social pressure to view themselves primarily as child-bearers attribute the advent of birth control to their liberation. A female television personality decried currently available television health messages, yet found cause for optimism in the receptiveness of Moroccan society to properly presented television messages. Fertile Morocco, fertility levels have dropped in the past 30 years, and women have found that freedom from perpetual child-bearing has allo them to make various contributions to society. One of the first Moroccan women elected to parliament noted that family planning best succeeds when it is the result of informed, personal choice enabled by education.
